本島阿佐子（ソプラノ）

Photo伊藤京子、福田和子、ノーマン・シェトラー、アデ－レ・ハース、クルト・ヴィトマー、キャスリン・ラボフ、ロレーヌ・ヌバー、ステイシー・ペンソンの各氏に師事。

ドイツにおける国際バッハ・コンクール第一位（1998）をはじめ、国際シューマン・コンクール（第二位（一位なし） 1993）、国際ブラームス・コンクール（第二位1994） 国際マリアカラスコンクール（オラトリオ・歌曲部門）入選(アテネ1995)、　国内では第一回友愛ドイツ歌曲コンクール第一位(1990)、奏楽堂日本歌曲コンクール第三位(1991)、奨励賞(1995)、上毛音楽賞(1994)等、数多くの賞を受賞。

日本国内でのソロリサイタル、宗教曲でのソリスト、そしてヨーロッパ各地の音楽祭（「クラングシュプーレン」チロル(2002)、「バッハフェスト」ライプツィッヒ（ドイツ2000）、スイスチェンバーコンサート（チュールッヒ、ジュネーヴ、バーゼル）、チューリッヒ音楽祭（スイス2009）他）に招聘されるなどドイツ歌曲、宗教曲、現代曲、オペラの幅広いレパートリーで演奏活動を行い、その透明感のある歌声と豊かな表現力に高い評価を得ている。
2010年日本と西洋の伝統音楽と現代歌曲の融合に挑戦した初ソロCD「Inoriいのり」〜Prayers of a Japanese Spirit〜をリリース。その後、平成22年度国立音楽大学長期国外研究員として1年間ニューヨークにて研鑽を積み現在に至る。国立音楽大学准教授。

Asako Motojima, Soprano

Asako Motojima studied at the Kunitachi College of Music in Tokyo (M.A.) and also at the College of Arts in Vienna (Diploma) and Conservatorium in Basel, Switzerland (Soloist Diploma).
She studied singing under Kyoko Ito, Kurt Widmer, Adele Haas, and interpretation of German Lieder with Norman Shetler.
She is the winner of awards at various international competitions: 1st prize at the International J.S.Bach Competition (1998, Leipzig, Germany), 2nd Prize (1st Prize unawarded) of International Robert Schumann Competition(1993, Zwickau,Germany), 2nd prize of International Johannes Brahms Competition (1994, Hamburg,Germany), and finalist of International Maria Callas Competition (1995, Athens, Greece).
She has also received a number of awards at Japanese national competitions, including 1st prize of Yuai German Lieder (1991), and 3rd.prize of Sougakudo Japanese Songs Competition(1992).
She gives recitals and concerts in Japan and Europe, and is invited to perform at many festivals, among them: Klangspuren, Tirol, Austria (2002), Bachfest Leipzig, Germany (2000), Suiss Chember Concerts, Zurich, Geneve, Basel (2004), Zuricherfest Tonhalle, Zurich, Switzerland(2009) etc.
While on sabbatical in New York in 2011, she studied English Pronunciation for Singers with Kathryn Labouff and took vocal lessons with Stacy Penson (Gospel, Musicals etc.) and Loraine Nubar (Vocalization).
She is a faculty staff member of the Kunitachi College of Music in Tokyo, serving as an assistant professor.
